[wc_toggle title=”Reasonable Adjustments for People with a Disability ” padding=”” border_width=”” class=”” layout=”box”]
It is recognised that disabled people are not only those whose disability is immediately apparent, but also those whose disability is not obvious (eg: heart trouble or mental ill health).
Into Work operates a scheme guaranteeing an interview to all disabled applicants who demonstrate on their application form that they meet the minimum criteria for a job vacancy, and who ask to be considered for the scheme. The minimum criteria are defined as meeting the ‘essential’ criteria listed on the Person Specification. You are not obliged to participate in the scheme if you have a disability.
If your application is successful and you require us to make reasonable adjustments, we will need to establish how you will be able to do the tasks identified in the Job Description. It will help us if you are well informed about possibilities in your situation.
Into Work is happy to provide constructive telephone feedback to any disabled applicant.
