Finance Manager

Part-time – 21 hours per week
Salary range – pro rata of £31,200 to £32,864 (full time equivalent).
Type of Contract: Permanent.

Role

We are looking to recruit a suitably experienced finance professional to support the charity in the areas of finance, governance, policy & IT.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will oversee organisational as well as project level finance. Key responsibilities include oversight of the monthly payroll process as well as day to day bookkeeping & invoicing, producing quarterly financial reports & forecasts for the Board of Directors, collating documentation annually for auditors, and preparing the annual budget.

Excellent excel & IT skills are vital, as are strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines. The Finance Manager will have experience in a similar or related role, with extensive experience of all aspects of financial management.

The remuneration package will include a competitive salary, 34 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays, pro rata), flexible working opportunities, and a generous contributory pension scheme with life insurance policy.

Please note due to COVID-19 restrictions, the recruitment process will be carried out entirely online. Applicants must have internet access from a safe location. If shortlisted for interview, we will utilise video conferencing for the interview process.

The successful applicant will initially be working from home, however once COVID restrictions are eased you will be based at our offices at Norton Park in Edinburgh. At that time an element of continued home working can be considered.
