Senior Management

Lorena Mombelli

Lorena is our Finance Manager. Originally from Argentina, she moved to Scotland in 2004 following a man in a kilt. Lorena has been working in finance for nearly 20 years, with experience in various industries within the private sector. Lorena moved to the 3rd sector over 5 years ago by “accident” and fell in love with the sector, and is excited to be Into Work’s Finance Manager.

Tanya Knight

Tanya is one of our Service Delivery Managers. Having previously worked in private sector agency recruitment, Tanya followed her passion, entering the third sector by joining Into Work waaaay back 16 years ago, when she started as an Employment Advisor. She is now one of our Service Delivery Managers, overseeing project teams who support our clients. Beyond this, her oversight and remit now covers everything from welfare rights to training delivery, bid writing and Into Work marketing. She continues to love the difference Into Work can make to the lives of others, every day.

Lynda McLeod

Lynda is one of our Service Delivery Managers. She first started at into Work in the year 2000. Having worked in Supported Employment for 8 years previously she helped set up and launch our Autistic service. This service expanded and grew very quickly. Lynda then moved into more Senior roles within the organisation managing staff and service delivery. Lynda has a wealth of knowledge and has dedicated her career to working in the Third Sector. She has over 30 years experience working in Supported Employment.

Rebecca Allen

Rebecca is our Senior manager. Rebecca joined in December 2018 as Senior Manager responsible for the overall leadership and management of Into Work, including its funding and financial viability. This involves overseeing Into Work’s supported employment services in Edinburgh and Lothians including our Welfare Rights, Wellbeing + and Autism and Equality Works training offer to employers. Rebecca works closely with the board of directors, management and project staff as well as with partners and stakeholders to develop, co-ordinate and deliver our strategy which is to grow and expand our impact. Rebecca is passionate about the empowerment of disabled people and the business case we can make to employers of the benefits that employing disabled people will bring. Rebecca coordinated work this year for our team to be acknowledged with the Silver Investors in People award, Disability Confident Leader award and Living Wage accreditation. Rebecca has over 28 years of working in person centred services for disabled people, 15 years of those have been spent as the lead officer with two Scottish charities as well as volunteering as a trustee for two other Scottish charities. Rebecca has qualifications in leadership, voluntary sector management and social work.
