New service for autistic and neurodivergent parents in Midlothian

1st August 2025

Into Work has launched a new in-work support service to support neurodivergent and autistic parents in Midlothian to sustain employment.

This service is open to people who self-identify as neurodivergent as well as those with a formal diagnosis.

The service consists of:

One-to-one employment support

You will be assigned an Employment Adviser who will get to know you, your background, and any difficulties you’re facing at work.
They can assist with negotiating reasonable adjustments, advocate for you with your employer, and help you to stay in employment.

Wellbeing support

You will have access to our wellbeing service. Through one-to-one and peer support sessions, you will be supported with your overall wellbeing, helping you to sustain your current job.

Income maximisation

Our Income Maximisation team will ensure you are getting the correct financial support to help you whilst you are in employment.

To get support, please contact Kim.Mooney@intowork.org.uk
