New Board Member – Philip Cachia

17th October 2024

We are delighted to announce that Philip Cachia has been appointed to our Board of Directors.

Philip joins with 25 years of experience in senior leadership, clinical and educational roles in NHS Scotland. Since retiring in 2015, he spent four years as Clinical Director of Training and Assessment at the Royal College of Pathologists.

For the last three years, he has been a trustee and chair of Giraffe, a Perthshire charity which provides support, life skills, training and work opportunities for neurodivergent people.

As a trustee of the Giraffe charity, I have been so impressed and inspired by the work and commitment of our staff and volunteers which supports the learning and achievements of our trainees.

Joining the board at Into Work provides me with an opportunity to expand my knowledge, skills and contributions in a similar, overlapping area. I hope that my involvement in the two boards can be of benefit to both organisations.
