To be eligible to receive our services you must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged 16 or upwards
- Have a disability or health condition and be seeking work in Edinburgh or Midlothian
- Motivated to gain paid employment
- Live in Edinburgh or Midlothian
- Be able to self-travel or have your own travel arrangements
- Give your consent to the referral
Referral Process
Anyone with a disability or long-term health condition can either refer themselves to Into Work – or give their consent to be referred by a third party.
Due to an increase in demand for our service, we are unable to take direct referrals for our Adult Edinburgh service.
If you require support to find or sustain employment and live in Edinburgh, please refer through our All in Edinburgh service: How To Refer | All in Edinburgh .
Your referral through All in Edinburgh will be picked up by one of Into Work, The Action Group, Forth Sector or Enable. If you specifically want to work with Into Work, please state this in your referral.
Referrals for people living in Midlothian and for our specialist Young Person’s Service (aged 16-24) should still be submitted below.
