Inclusion Works! East Lothian

29th August 2023

We are expanding our Inclusion Works! programme for young disabled people to support people in East Lothian.

Inclusion Works! East Lothian is funded by East Lothian Works’ Small Grant Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for young disabled people who are starting to think about their next steps.

Through a combination of one to one engagement and group work sessions, our aim is to support young disabled people to increase their confidence, develop key transferrable skills, and improve their health and wellbeing. For any participants ready for the following next steps, we would support them to gain employment, work experience, volunteering experience or to re-engage with education.

Eligibility:

  • Young disabled people, including those who are experiencing poor mental health such as anxiety and depression, and anyone living with a long-term health condition
  • Aged 16 – 24
  • Live in East Lothian

If you have any question you would like to discuss, or if you would like to complete the referral in a different format, please email heather.fleming@intowork.org.uk or phone 07749 499 272.

If possible, we would like all referrals to this programme to be received by Friday 8th September 2023 so that the young disabled people can get the most out of this opportunity. However, if this date has passed and you are interested in the programme / have a young person you would like to refer, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
