Project
Wellbeing+ aims to help people build their confidence, capacity, and coping strategies, before, during and at the end of their supported employment journey with us.
The project has been running successfully for one year and Into Work are keen to keep developing it as part of our overall service offer.
Wellbeing+ will help build the capacity of Into Work’s employment services by developing stronger links and pathways to health and community agencies that potential and current service users will benefit from.
Overall Purpose of the Job
To continue to develop, co-produce and deliver our Wellbeing+ Project with disabled people and people with long-term health conditions across all our services. Offer group and 1:1 wellbeing sessions, to supported employment service users experiencing a range of issues such as: anxiety and mental health difficulties, trauma, housing, debt, poverty, isolation, family and other social relationships. This service offer is also being extended to our Young Person’s ‘Inclusion Works!’ project.
To support the participants of the project you will develop and build on existing pathways to encourage appropriate referrals for Into Work and to signpost or refer service users to appropriate external interventions or specialist services as and when required. You will work closely with Into Work supported employment colleagues to build on your existing knowledge, skills and experience and to offer potential progression routes for service users towards employment, through volunteering, improving physical and mental health and mindfulness exercises. You will also work with our established Wellbeing+ team who continue to support the development of this project.
Excellent communication skills are vital, as is knowledge and understanding of barriers faced by disabled people and people with long-term health conditions. We need someone who is focused, methodical, and driven, who can work effectively on their own as well as with a team to develop and deliver this project.
The remuneration package will include a competitive salary, 6.8 weeks annual leave (pro rated for part-time employees) inclusive of holidays, flexible working opportunities, and a generous contributory pension scheme.
