We are looking for two values-driven people, with lived experience to join our Board of Directors. We are particularly keen to hear from you if you are a person with lived experience of mental health issues or are a young disabled person.
- Person with lived experience of mental health issues
- Young disabled person (aged 18 – 26)
Into Work help disabled people and people with long term health conditions find, build and maintain great jobs.
We provide personalised employment advice for people who live in Edinburgh, East Lothian and Midlothian and we are looking to expand our services across the Southeast of Scotland. We also deliver training and consultancy support to employers across Scotland to improve their recruitment and employment practices of disabled people.
The Board of Directors support the overall governance and strategic direction of Into Work and they meet about six times a year. We currently have seven Directors who are volunteers.
