Business Development Manager
Hours of Work – 30 to 35.75 hours per week (full time is 35.75)
Salary – £ 30,000 to £ 32,000 (pro rata if part time), depending on experience

We are looking for a talented and passionate Business Development Manager who will have an important strategic role to play in creating and managing growth in terms of scale and range of Into Work’s activities.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will drive the business development plan, identifying opportunities and producing professionally written proposal content that clearly articulates Into Work’s service offer of supported employment for disabled people and people with long term health conditions.
The post holder will be a member of the Management Team and will lead on strategic business development activities. This is a networked role that requires strong communication & organisational skills as well as an ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are vital, as is the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines. We need someone who is focused and driven, who can work effectively on their own as well as with a team. The Business Development Manager will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of developing business development pipelines.
The remuneration package will include a competitive salary, 34 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays and pro rata if part time), flexible working opportunities, and a generous contributory pension scheme with life insurance policy.

The successful applicant will initially be working from home, however once COVID restrictions are eased you will be based at our offices at Norton Park in Edinburgh. At that time an element of continued home working can be considered.
